Canadian Banking
Wealth Management
International Banking

Canadian Banking

Our Canadian Banking segment consists of all domestic banking businesses. With its leading national distribution network and the most valuable brand in Canada, it serves approximately 15 million clients through the country's most extensive branch and ATM network, its proprietary and specialized sales forces, online channels and call centres. Business lines in this segment include Personal and Business Financial Services, Credit Cards and Payment Solutions. RBC's retail investment business in Canada, both in-branch and RBC Direct Investing, are a part of this segment. This segment is headed by Dave McKay .

Wealth Management

Wealth Management serves affluent and high net worth clients around the world, providing asset management and estate and trust services directly to clients and through RBC partners and third-party distributors. The business has a network of 300 offices in 20 countries around the world and more than C$500 billion of assets under administration, 3,500 financial advisors and C$150 billion of assets under management. This segment is headed by George Lewis and is comprised of:

RBC Dominion Securities
With more than C$150 billion in assets under administration, RBC Dominion Securities is the Canadian leader in investment management for affluent and high net worth investors, on both a discretionary and non-discretionary basis. While investment management is the core offering, our 1,300+ investment advisors and portfolio managers also provide a full scope of wealth management advice and solutions, such as insurance, retirement and estate planning and charitable giving to address changing demographics and the baby boomer shift into retirement.

RBC Asset Management Inc.
BC Asset Management Inc. is a leading company within Canada's mutual fund industry, with the single largest family of funds. It provides a broad range of investment services to investors through mutual funds, pooled funds and separately managed portfolios. With over C$78 billion in assets under management and offices in major financial centres around the world, it is also one of Canada's largest money managers. RBC Asset Management has led the industry in long-term net sales for 13 consecutive quarters. The RBC Funds were recently recognized as the 'Best Overall Fund Group' in Canada by Lipper Inc.

RBC Estate and Trust Services
RBC Estate and Trust Services is the industry leader in Canada providing flexible and customized estate and trust solutions. Over 200 Estate and Trust Specialists serve clients across Canada in 13 offices and through a call centre. Clients primarily include mass affluent and high net worth individuals, their families and businesses.

RBC Global Private Banking
Global Private Banking (GPB) is RBC's international wealth management operation, serving high net worth and niche institutional clients in select markets around the world. Client solutions include private banking and credit, international trust services, discretionary investment management, international full-service brokerage and global custody and fund administration. With 2,100 employees and 33 offices spread across 21 countries, GPB is one of the top 20 global private banks in the world and the #1 provider of international trust services in the United Kingdom.

RBC Private Counsel
RBC Private Counsel focuses exclusively on client portfolios in excess of $1 million and provides the full range of wealth management services including estate planning, trusts, tax minimization, and other investment and planning solutions. Twenty-seven Investment Counseling teams in 13 offices serve clients across Canada.

RBC Dain Rauscher
RBC Dain Rauscher Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada (RY: TSX, NYSE), is one of the largest full-service securities firms in the United States. The company serves individual investors and businesses through offices coast to coast, and capital markets and correspondent clients in select U.S. and international markets. Founded in 1909, RBC Dain Rauscher is a member of the New York Stock Exchange and other major securities exchanges, as well as the Securities Investor Protection Corp.

Voyageur Asset Management Inc.
Voyageur Asset Management Inc. offers equity and fixed income investment strategies under the Voyageur and Tamarack names. A registered investment advisor, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Voyageur offers investment strategies to institutions as well as individuals, through Voyageur Institutional Services and Advisory Service Divisions. Founded in 1983, Voyageur currently has $32 billion assets under management, 140 employees in seven offices, and is an SEC-registered investment adviser.

International Banking

Our International Banking segment consists of RBC's banking businesses outside Canada, which include RBC Bank in the U.S., and RBC's Caribbean banking operations. In addition, it includes RBC's 50 per cent ownership in RBC Dexia, which offers a complete range of investor services, such as custody and fund administration, to institutions worldwide. RBC International Banking provides personal and business banking solutions to individuals, businesses, business owners and professionals through 350 banking centres in the U.S. Southeast. Its Caribbean operations provide banking solutions to individuals and business throughout a network of 44 branches in eight Caribbean countries and territories. This segment is headed by Jim Westlake.

RBC Bank
Headquartered in Raleigh, RBC Centura is the 46th largest U.S. bank based on assets as of October 31, 2006. It offers a wide range of financial services and advice, including a complete line of banking and mortgage services to individuals, businesses and public institutions throughout the Southeast. Its multi-faceted customer access network includes more than 330 full-service banking centers, an extensive ATM network and telephone and Internet banking.

RBC Builder Finance
A division of RBC Centura, RBC Builder Finance is a $3.55 billion nationwide lender that specializes in providing financing to experienced residential developers and homebuilders. Headquarters in Houston, Texas, it serves more than 80 metropolitan markets throughout the U.S.

Caribbean Banking
RBC Royal Bank of Canada has a longstanding presence in the Caribbean and currently operates 46 branches and 68 automated banking machines in nine Caribbean countries and territories, with more than 1500 employees across the region, including the Bahamas.

RBC Dexia
As Canada's leading global custodian, RBC Dexia Investor Services (IS) has been serving institutional investors for over a century. IS provides global custody services virtually anywhere you choose to invest.

Capital Markets

Capital Markets, our global wholesale banking segment, provides corporate and institutional clients with advice, capital, access to the world's financial markets and innovative products to help them achieve their growth objectives. By leveraging its leadership position in Canada, it has built a strong and growing U.S. mid-market capital markets franchise. Outside North America, it has established itself as leading provider of global financial services. Notable areas of strength include global fixed income distribution capabilities, structuring and trading, foreign exchange, and infrastructure finance, as well as broad capabilities in global mining and energy. This segment is headed by Chuck Winograd.

RBC Capital Markets

Insurance

RBC Insurance® provides a wide range of life, health, travel, home, auto and reinsurance products as well as creditor insurance services to more than five million clients in Canada, the U.S. and internationally. These products and services are offered through a wide variety of distribution channels, including retail insurance branches, the telephone, independent brokers, travel agents, a proprietary sales force and the Internet. This segment is headed by Jim Westlake.
