2,000 resolutions to help protect water
In 2011, RBC ran its first-ever “Blue Year’s Resolution” campaign, inviting people to make resolutions around the issue of fresh water. More than 1800 people took part, with pledges about drinking less bottled water, raising awareness about water issues and volunteering with local organizations dedicated to watershed clean-ups. Pledges were gathered on the RBC Blue Water Project Facebook page and are available for viewing.
Thanks to everyone who participated. The RBC Blue Water Project is a 10-year, $50 million commitment to helping protect our most precious natural resource – fresh water.
