From the products we buy to the temperature at which our thermostats are set, the many choices we all make in our everyday lives have an impact on the environment. Many of our activities come at a cost to the climate, forests, biodiversity, local populations and water. We know it's important to stay informed about the issues so that we can identify steps to reduce our impact and leave what is known as a smaller environmental "footprint."
We have defined priority environmental issues as issues that (1) have an impact on our business activities or the business activities of our suppliers or clients, (2) are impacted by our business activities, or the activities of our suppliers or clients, and/or (3) are important, for various reasons, to a wide array of stakeholders.
