Royal Bank of Canada is required to issue Public Accountability
Statements (PAS) for clients and other interested stakeholders,
to outline our contribution to the economy and to Canadian
society. This site provides access to RBC's Public Accountability
Statements from 2002 to present.
Our 2008 PAS is part of our annual Corporate
Responsibility Report, covering our fiscal year 2008 (November
1, 2007 to October 31, 2008). We have combined the two reports
because many of the PAS requirements overlap with the contents
now expected in fuller corporate responsibility reports. This
document is available through this web site. We will advise
clients about the availability of this report on transaction
statements for personal and business banking clients in March/April,
2009.
Our 2008 PAS was published in February 2009.
Our 2009 PAS will be published in February 2010.
