• Only RBC Royal Bank^® clients who visit our offer page between May 1^st and May 31^st 2014 and who have an active banking account with RBC Royal Bank (each, a “Referrer”) may participate in this referral program. This offer is not transferrable. Eligible RBC^® banking accounts include: RBC VIP Banking^®, RBC Signature No Limit Banking^®, RBC No Limit Banking^®, RBC Day to Day Banking^® accounts.
• As the Referrer, “you” must agree to submit information about the Referees (i.e. email address) in order to receive your referral fee. All information submitted to us is collected in accordance with our privacy policy. www.rbc.com/privacysecurity/ca . You agree to limit referrals to your actual friends or family members. You agree to only use legal means to submit the referral. Spam, unsolicited commercial email, or any form of unlawful means of communication is prohibited, and will be grounds for termination of your participation in this Refer a Newcomer Program. Fraudulent or unethical means of communication such as using bots, fictitious identities, fake emails, or scripts are prohibited. We reserve the right to not award a referral fee or disqualify a Referrer from this Refer a Newcomer Program if we suspect that fraud or abuse has occurred. You are eligible to earn a referral fee for each Referee who applies for an RBC Royal Bank eligible banking account and meets the eligibility criteria. You must make referrals to your friends and family members by May 31, 2014 in order to qualify for a referral fee. You may only receive a referral fee for a Referee claim that is properly completed and submitted by June 15, 2014.
• A Referrer can refer up to 15 friends and/or family members (each, a “Referee”), and is eligible to receive up to 15 referral fees of $50 Canadian each provided the Referees meets all of the eligibility requirements of the offer and completes the required steps related to the offer.
• Referrer and Referee must be the age of majority in the province in which they reside.
• The Referrer must have an RBC banking account that is in good standing at the time the offer is fulfilled.
• Offer is valid in the following provinces: Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and within the following regions of the province of Ontario: Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Ajax, Pickering, Bradford, Aurora, Newmarket, Keswick , Richmond Hill, Markham) and Ontario Northwest (Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie, Sudbury, Elliot Lake, Timmins).

To participate in this program eligible Referees must:

• Be referred by the Referrer as defined above; and
• Not be a client of RBC Royal Bank at the time of the referral.

To receive the $50 Canadian, Referees must:

1. Be a newcomer to Canada who has arrived in Canada within the last 5 years and who shows proof of arrival in Canada such as passport and landing papers or permanent resident card. Newcomers may be: landed immigrants, permanent residents, or foreign workers.
2. Be the age of majority in the province in which they reside.
3. Open an eligible RBC banking account between May 1^st and May 31^st, 2014 make a minimum deposit of $100 into the account at the time the account is opened. Eligible RBC banking accounts include: RBC VIP Banking, RBC Signature No Limit Banking, RBC No Limit Banking, RBC Day to Day Banking accounts.
4. Keep the newly opened RBC banking account in good standing until the time we fulfill the offer.
5. Go online to www.rbc.com/my50 and complete the redemption process for the offer by June 15, 2014
6. Only one referral fee of $50 Canadian will be provided to the Referee once all eligibility criteria is met regardless of the number of RBC banking accounts or other products opened by the Referee and once the redemption process for the offer is completed in full.
7. The $50 Canadian will be deposited into the Referee’s RBC banking account within 6-8 weeks of redeeming this offer online provided all requirements are met for this time limited offer.
